Former heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua was involved in a fatal accident in Ogun State, Nigeria, resulting in the deaths of two of his friends and team members. The accident occurred during an overtaking maneuver when the black Lexus Joshua was in crashed into a parked truck. The main causes of the accident were speeding and improper overtaking.

The deceased were:

  • Sina Hami, fitness specialist;
  • Kevin Ayoadele, Joshua's personal trainer.

Both deceased accompanied the boxer to his match against Jake Paul a week ago. Joshua sustained minor injuries and his condition is stable. In addition to the fatalities, one person was injured while two other passengers survived.
