Dmytro Kuleba, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, stated that he will not flee from military service if he receives a draft notice. He emphasized his commitment to Ukraine in an interview with journalist Yanina Sokolova.

'I live in Ukraine, and if the draft notice comes – I will not flee abroad. I have dedicated two and a half years of my life to the war, starting from the first night when no one believed we could hold out.'

Kuleba explained that he did not go to fight as a volunteer due to his long-term experience in the war, but he does not plan to avoid service in the future.

'I did not go as a volunteer because for two and a half years I have been engaged in the war, but I will not flee to avoid mobilization when that time comes.'

Kuleba Denies Rumors of Escape

There was information about Kuleba's possible escape from Ukraine before the decree banning former diplomats from leaving the country took effect. Kuleba himself refuted these rumors, confirming his readiness to serve in the army and his dedication to the country.

Kuleba openly responded to accusations and reaffirmed his support for Ukraine, his readiness to serve in the army, and his lack of intention to flee from possible mobilization.
