The Director of the Financial Markets and Investment Activities Department of 'Globus Bank', Taras Lesovoy, advises Ukrainians not to panic due to currency exchange rate fluctuations. He noted that it is not advisable to rush to exchange dollars for euros due to the stability of the dollar rate in Ukraine.

Shifting focus to euros is not always justified and can lead to unexpected losses, as the transition from one currency to another results in double losses for citizens.

Lesovoy explained that the dollar rate remains stable due to the actions of the National Bank, while the euro rate in Ukraine demonstrates unpredictable dynamics due to dependence on global market conditions.

Currency rate forecasts until mid-August

The expert predicts that in the coming days, the dollar rate will fluctuate between 41.6-42.2 hryvnias in exchange offices and on the interbank market. This means that for 100 dollars, Ukrainians will have to pay from 4160 to 4220 hryvnias.

In August, Taras Lesovoy forecasts moderate fluctuations in the dollar rate (from 41.8 to 42.4 hryvnias) and a less predictable euro rate (from 48.5 to 50 hryvnias), depending on global economic trends.

The banker advises Ukrainians to refrain from panic and avoid hasty decisions regarding currency exchange, as this may lead to financial losses.
