During a closed-door briefing for journalists, including those from 'Glavcom', Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy underscored the critical importance of the nation's drone production sector. He drew a direct parallel to the oil industry, stating that
"the production of modern drones and Ukraine's corresponding expertise is our Ukrainian oil today."Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine has developed a comprehensive system through which other nations can acquire drones, specialized knowledge, and trained personnel for their operation. He argued that countries should purchase this complete package, allowing Ukraine to generate revenue from what he termed the 'export of security.' However, reports of potential negotiations with the oil giant Saudi Aramco for the purchase of Ukrainian interceptor drones have been denied. Separately, U.S. Army Secretary Dan Driskill confirmed that the American military has already dispatched 10,000 interceptor drones, developed in Ukraine, to the Middle East. These deliveries are intended to counter Iranian attacks without relying on costly missile defense systems, showcasing the practical battlefield value of Ukrainian technology.
