The Office of the Prosecutor General has announced charges against former president of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) Andriy Pavelko. He is accused of embezzlement and forgery of documents, reports the portal 'Glavkom'.
According to the documents, Pavelko is suspected of organizing the misappropriation of someone else's property by abusing his official position and falsifying official documents. He used his official position along with subordinates to implement schemes for embezzlement of funds and forgery of documents.
The investigation, which began in June 2025, points to a series of events related to the Ukrainian Football Association and financial operations with international partners, including the misappropriation of large sums of money and operations through an offshore company.
