The Brazilian footballer was arrested on the beach in Rio de Janeiro for non-payment of alimony. The former CSKA player, Jo, had been in debt to the mother of one of his children for a whole 12 months. This is not the first time Jo has found himself behind bars due to this problem, as he had previous arrests in 2024 and 2025.
The Brazilian had a long career in football, playing for clubs such as Manchester City, Everton, Galatasaray, and others. His last club was Itabirito, but he left it in February 2025.
Ukraine achieved success during the European Youth Olympic Festival, finishing 10th in the overall medal standings. Our athletes won the most medals in judo, as well as in swimming, athletics, taekwondo, and other sports. At the World Summer Universiade, the Ukrainian team placed 14th and won a total of 12 medals.
