Growth of the Electric Vehicle Market in Ukraine
In November 2025, Ukraine is experiencing growth in the electric vehicle market, as over 11 thousand battery electric vehicles (BEVs) have been registered. The Lviv region has become the leader in the number of registrations, showing 1620 units, of which 89% are used cars.
Leaders Among Regions
- Kyiv ranked second with 1595 BEV units, with the share of used cars in the capital being 50%.
- Kyiv region registered 876 electric vehicles, with a share of used cars at 58%.
- Dnipro region has 771 registered electric vehicles, with a share of used cars at 61%.
- Odesa region, in turn, registered 652 units, with a share of used cars at 67%.
Among new electric vehicles, the most popular in Ukraine is the BYD Leopard 3. Meanwhile, the TESLA Model Y has become the best seller in Kyiv, Kyiv, Dnipro, and Lviv regions. In the segment of used electric cars, TESLA Model 3 leads in Odesa region.
The growing interest in electric vehicles indicates a change in consumer preferences and a striving for eco-friendly technologies among Ukrainians. Lviv region, as a regional leader, demonstrates activity in implementing electric mobility.
The growth of the electric vehicle market in Ukraine indicates changes in the consumer behavior of the population, which is increasingly oriented towards ecological solutions.
The popularity of used cars indicates that consumers are trying to reduce costs while paying attention to ecological aspects. The Lviv region, as a leader in registrations, can become an example for other regions in implementing electric mobility, which, in turn, can positively impact the development of infrastructure and the ecological situation in the country.
