Successful matches of 'Epicenter-Podoliany' in the Challenge Cup of the European Volleyball Confederation
The reigning champion of Ukraine in volleyball, 'Epicenter-Podoliany', successfully advanced past the 1/16 finals of the Challenge Cup of the European Volleyball Confederation, having twice defeated the Serbian team 'Karadorde Topola'. In the first game, which took place on December 10 in Topola, the Ukrainian team from Horodok won with an overall score of 3:1 in sets (25:22, 25:21, 23:25, 25:20).
The Ukrainian club started powerfully, winning two sets in a row, although the Serbs managed to take the third set. The most productive player of the match was Ukrainian Danilo Uryvkin, who brought the team 21 points. The return match took place the next day, where 'Epicenter-Podoliany' won again - this time with a score of 3:0 (25:16, 25:14, 25:23).
Next stage and winner of the Challenge Cup
Thanks to these victories in the 1/8 finals, 'Epicenter-Podoliany' will play against the winner of the pair between the Cypriot 'Paphos' and the Greek PAOK. The cost of the cup will take place on January 7, 2026, after which it will be known who will be the opponent of the Ukrainian club in the quarter-finals.
