People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak stated that the former head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak is not at the front, despite public statements about his service, and at the same time maintains informal contact with the president. According to him, there have been no confirmations of Yermak's participation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the third week after his resignation, and his influence on state processes is significantly exaggerated.
Zheleznyak noted that after the evening of November 28, when Yermak, according to him, had a conflict with the president, he stated to foreign journalists his intention to go to the front. However, further checks did not confirm this information. Requests from journalists and deputies to various structures received the same response – Yermak is not serving.
Where is Andriy Yermak and is he serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
According to Zheleznyak, responses to inquiries from the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate, and the Foreign Intelligence Service indicate that Andriy Yermak is not involved in service in any of the units. The same information has been publicly confirmed by journalists and political observers, including from Radio NV.
The deputy separately reminded that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine requested additional time to process the official request, which, in his opinion, also indicates Yermak's absence from the ranks of the Armed Forces.
Does Yermak retain influence after dismissal
At the same time, according to the information voiced by the editor-in-chief of "Ukrainian Truth" Sevgil Musayeva, Andriy Yermak continues to communicate with Volodymyr Zelensky. He was seen in the presidential residence, and contacts between them occur from time to time, but this is rather personal communication than systematic political influence.
Political observer of Radio NV Yuliya Zabelina also stated that Yermak has not regained control over the processes, although some officials appointed during his term continue to hold their positions.
Zheleznyak separately drew attention to the lack of procedural decisions in cases involving Yermak, particularly related to materials from the NABU. According to him, answers to questions about the real role of the former head of the President's Office may only emerge in the courtroom of the High Anti-Corruption Court.
Earlier, People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak disclosed new details of the resonant story involving businessman Timur Mindich, whom journalists link to the purchase of 77 apartments in Kyiv at prices significantly lower than market rates.
