The EU prepares the 19th package of sanctions against Russia: what is known about the new restrictions

The European Union is preparing the 19th package of sanctions against Russia, meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump signed an order delaying the introduction of tariffs for China. During the night of August 12, drone attacks occurred in Russian Stavropol and a fire at a paint factory in Yaroslavl.



Trump's Order


Trump signed an executive order extending the suspension of tariffs on Chinese goods for 90 days. This does not cancel the terms of the trade agreement between the two countries, leaving them unchanged.

On the night of the weekend, drones attacked the 'Monocrystal' factory in Stavropol. Several explosions were recorded in the vicinity of the plant, which is a manufacturer of sapphire.


Fire at the Paint Factory


A building of a paint company caught fire in Yaroslavl. The roof of the building collapsed, however, there is no information about any casualties.
