EU Delivers Emergency Power Generators to Ukraine
The European Union is dispatching a shipment of 447 power generators to support Ukraine's critical infrastructure. This vital aid, coordinated through the European Commission's Emergency Response Coordination Centre (ERCC) with support from the Ukrainian Red Cross, will be distributed to communities, including those in frontline regions. The equipment is intended to provide essential power for social services and other crucial facilities. This delivery is part of a broader international effort to help Ukraine maintain basic services amidst ongoing attacks on its energy grid.
Oleksiy Kuleba announced the delivery, which consists of 445 small-capacity generators and 2 large-scale units, with a total estimated value of 3.7 million euros. The generators are expected to arrive in Ukraine within a week and will be allocated across the following regions:

- Donetsk Oblast
- Zaporizhzhia Oblast
- Chernihiv Oblast
- Kharkiv Oblast
- Kherson Oblast
- Odesa Oblast
- Sumy Oblast
- Mykolaiv Oblast

This support is crucial for ensuring the continuous operation of schools, hospitals, social service centers, shelters, heating points, as well as boiler houses, water intakes, sewage treatment plants, and artesian wells.
