In May, the 70th Eurovision will kick off in Vienna, where Ukraine will be represented by singer LELÉKA with the song «Ridnym». The Ukrainian performer will take the stage in the second semifinal, and the competition can be watched on public platforms. This is reported by Visit Ukraine.

Ukraine will perform in the second semifinal of Eurovision 2026

In 2026, Ukraine will be represented at the international song contest by LELÉKA with the composition «Ridnym». The winner of the national selection attracted viewers' attention with an emotional and restrained performance without many special effects.

The song is built around the theme of internal changes, fears, and seeking support from the native. The emotionality of the composition and the live delivery were among the main reasons for winning the final of the Ukrainian selection.

Ukraine will perform under the number 12 in the second semifinal, which will take place on May 14.

Eurovision 2026 will take place in Vienna

The anniversary contest will be hosted by the capital of Austria - Vienna. The country received the right to hold the show after the victory of the performer JJ with the song «Wasted Love» at last year’s contest in Basel.

The main arena will be the Wiener Stadthalle, where Eurovision was held in 2015. Overall, Austria will host the contest for the third time in history.

The organizers have already confirmed the dates of the show:

  1. First semifinal - May 12.

  2. Second semifinal - May 14.

  3. Grand final - May 16.
