Ukraine continues to take important steps towards integrating its labor market into the European space. A meeting took place in Bratislava dedicated to preparing Ukraine for joining the European network of employment services EURES and potential cooperation with the European Labour Authority (ELA).
During the meeting, various aspects necessary for integrating Ukraine into the EURES system were discussed, including the establishment of a National Contact Point and harmonizing Ukrainian legislation with European labor standards.
This cooperation will help strengthen the institutional capacity of the Ukrainian labor market, make it more dynamic and competitive, and also help bring Ukraine closer to European practices and values.
