EIB allocates 74 million euros to Ukraine: what the funds will be spent on in eight regions

Європейський інвестиційний банк виділяє 74 мільйони євро Україні: проекти для восьми регіонів, які змінять життя громадян.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) will spend over 74 million euros to improve infrastructure in Ukraine. These funds will be directed towards the development of essential services, enhancing transportation networks, and increasing energy efficiency. The projects are being implemented in several regions of the country, including Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, and others.

“The new investments from the EIB are aimed at improving the quality of life for the population. We provide schools and hospitals with energy, modernize public transport, and develop rail traffic at the borders. These are practical actions that help us get closer to European standards and strengthen the economy and resilience of the regions,” noted Vice Prime Minister Oleksii Kuleba.

The funds will be distributed between loans from the EIB and grants from the E5P Fund and other organizations. Some projects are also funded with assistance from the German government. Detailed information on the distribution of funding can be obtained from the infographic.
