Empowering Women in Agrifood GROW Program

The Empowering Women in Agrifood GROW (EWA GROW) program invites women entrepreneurs in the agri-food sector to participate in a mentoring program aimed at developing innovative female entrepreneurship. Participants will receive support, access to a community, and the opportunity to obtain a grant. Applications for participation are accepted until April 26, 2026.

Requirements for Participants

Requirements for participants include:

  • age of 18 years or older;
  • residency in Ukraine;
  • the presence of a business idea in the agri-food sector or the development of their own business registered in Ukraine no more than three years ago;
  • for this idea, there should be no funding or grants involved of more than €60,000.

The program will take place in a hybrid format, lasting six months and involves the selection of 10 participants.

Participants will receive individual mentoring support, the opportunity to participate in online training and offline events in Kyiv, as well as access to the European community EIT Food. The best projects will have a chance to receive grants of €10,000 and €5,000. Travel and accommodation costs will be reimbursed. The initiative is implemented with the support of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) – a body of the European Union.

This program is an important step in supporting women in the agri-food sector, as it promotes the development of their business ideas and provides the necessary resources for project implementation.

Given the growing role of women in entrepreneurship, participation in the mentoring program can be a significant milestone for many participants who aspire to implement innovations and changes in their fields.
