Yesterday, a meeting took place at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, where a delegation from the European Union discussed the situation at the front with Ukrainian representatives. Partners talked about plans and outcomes related to the scaling of Russia's military-industrial complex, the implementation of sanctions against the aggressor, and joint projects.

Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk emphasized: 'We understand the scheme by which the enemy receives these components through third countries. To prevent this, sanctions must be stricter. Countries that have imposed sanctions against the Russian Federation must control and monitor their implementation.'

The participation of Ukraine in the SAFE and Build with Ukraine initiatives, as well as the need for funding for the Ukrainian defense industrial complex, was also discussed. The meeting concluded with important news about the allocation of €6 billion to Ukraine for drone production by the end of this year.

The meeting at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine with the delegation of the European Union opened new opportunities for cooperation between countries in the field of defense and security, emphasizing the importance of information exchange and support on the path to strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities.
