Oleh Mykhalyuta, widely recognized by his stage name Fahot, has been cast to voice the character Maui in the Ukrainian dub of Disney’s upcoming live-action film 'Moana'. The movie is set for a global premiere on July 10, 2026, with Ukrainian audiences getting an early look a day before, on July 9, 2026.

This is not Fahot’s first time bringing Maui to life—he previously voiced the demigod in the animated features 'Moana' and 'Moana 2'. The live-action adaptation reimagines the 2016 original animated classic. Actress Catherine Laga‘aia takes on the title role, while Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson portrays Maui. Director Thomas Kail helms this new version.
