В Києві з 6 січня починають працювати фермерські ринки: можливість придбати свіжі продукти від місцевих виробників.

Farmer's Markets in Kyiv

From January 6 to 11, 2026, farmer's markets will take place in Kyiv, where residents of the capital will have the opportunity to purchase products directly from Ukrainian producers. This initiative aims to support local farmers and provide the population with fresh and high-quality products.

The farmer's markets will open their doors on January 6 in five districts of Kyiv: Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Sviatoshynskyi and Shevchenkivskyi. A variety of products will be presented at these markets, including:

  • vegetables
  • fruits
  • meat
  • fat
  • sausages
  • dairy products
  • honey
  • nuts
  • dried fruits
  • baked goods

In the following days, from January 7 to 11, the markets will take place in different areas of the capital. Thus, on January 7, markets will be held in six districts, on January 8 — also in six districts, on January 9 — in eight districts, on January 10 — in seven districts, and on January 11 — in five districts. This will allow as many residents of Kyiv as possible to attend the events and take advantage of the opportunity to buy fresh products.

On the first day of the markets, January 6, traders can be found at the following addresses:

  • Holosiivskyi district — Nauky Ave, 88;
  • Darnytskyi district — Yevhenii Kharchenko St, 41-47;

In the following days, the addresses of the markets will cover even more districts. For example, on January 7 in the Darnytskyi district, markets will be held at Anna Akhmatova St, 31, and in Sviatoshynskyi — at Pidlisna St, 8. On January 8, the markets will continue in the Dniprovskyi district at Sobornosti Ave, 2-20, and in the Pechersk district — at Velyka Vasylkivska St (within the streets of Yezhy Hedyrotsya and Kovalka).

Residents of Kyiv will be able to visit these markets daily from January 6 to 11, which will provide an opportunity to support Ukrainian farmers and enjoy fresh products directly from producers. This initiative promotes the development of the agricultural sector and improves access to quality food products for the population.

The Importance of Farmer's Markets

Farmer's markets in Kyiv are an important step in supporting local producers and strengthening the country's agricultural sector. This also allows residents of Kyiv to receive fresh products, which can positively impact their quality of life. Such initiatives can become the basis for the development of gastronomic tourism and the promotion of Ukrainian cuisine, which in turn can contribute to the economic growth of the region.
