The situation with Ihor Fursenko
The defendant in the 'Midas' case Ihor Fursenko is currently at liberty after posting bail in the amount of 95 million hryvnias. The bail was paid by the private company 'Varus Synergy' on November 24. Under the terms, Fursenko is required to wear an electronic bracelet and surrender his foreign passports.

The investigation into the 'Midas' case lasted 15 months, during which it was established that participants in the scheme demanded kickbacks of 10-15% of the contract value through a mechanism known as a 'barrier'. About 100 million dollars passed through the defendants' office. The total 'corruption fee' collected from Ukrainians was approximately 86 million hryvnias per month.
