The Ukrainian company Fire Point has presented the cruise missile 'Flamingo FP-5', which is capable of delivering a 1150-kilogram warhead at a distance of up to 3000 kilometers. This development took less than nine months from idea to field tests, said the company's CEO Iryna Terekh.
'We did not want to disclose this development, but it seems that the right time has come',- said Terekh in an interview with Politico. The missile, which is completely Ukrainian-made, is faster than all other Ukrainian missiles. The first prototypes had a pink tip, which was an internal joke of the company about the role of women in the military industry.
