FPV drone attacked police car in Zaporizhzhia: three law enforcement officers injured

Attack of Russian drone on police in Zaporizhzhia region

On January 6, an attack by a Russian drone on a police service vehicle occurred in the Zaporizhzhia region, as a result of which three law enforcement officers were injured. Among the injured are a 46-year-old man, a 29-year-old man, and a 41-year-old woman. The incident took place in the village of Vozdvizhivka, where an enemy FPV drone struck a vehicle moving on the road.

As a result of the explosion, several houses in one of the districts of Zaporizhzhia were damaged. Overall, according to reports, the following were affected:

  • 6 private houses
  • garage
  • vehicle
  • one outbuilding was destroyed

The attack also affected the power line, further complicating the situation in the area.

Large-scale drone attack

In the night of January 6, the enemy carried out a large-scale attack during which 61 strike UAVs of the Shahed type were used. This event highlights the threat posed by unmanned aerial vehicles in modern combat conditions.

This incident is another confirmation of the intensification of drone use in the conflict, which has serious consequences for the civilian population and infrastructure. Attacks of this nature not only cause physical damage but also create psychological pressure on the population living in the conflict zone. The response of law enforcement and military agencies to such threats is also important, as it may influence the further development of events in the region.
