The FSB of Russia reported that it thwarted an attempt to organize a terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge using an explosive-laden vehicle with a suicide bomber. According to them, Ukrainian secret services were behind this attempt. The explosive device was delivered to Russia through transit from Ukraine and Georgia, but all those involved were detained.
This is already the second attempt by Ukrainian special services to carry out sabotage on the Crimean Bridge using vehicles packed with explosives. In 2025, a minibus with a large amount of explosives, which was to be used for an attack on the bridge, was also detained at customs near the Belarusian-Polish border.
The SBU of Ukraine continues to strike at the Crimean Bridge, disrupting the plans of the occupiers. The head of the Security Service personally led the operation, which has already caused serious damage to the structural columns of the bridge for the third time.
The Crimean Bridge continues to be the target of attacks from Ukraine, which undermine the occupiers' plans and cause damage to the facility.
