Halina Yablonska: Life and Career
Halina Yablonska, a Ukrainian actress, screenwriter, and director, celebrates her 98th birthday on January 2, 2026. She dedicated 88 years of her life to theater, of which she worked for 72 years at the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater. Her career began at the age of six when she first appeared on the stage of the Vinnitsa Theater. By the age of eight, Halina played the lead role in the play 'Uncle Tom's Cabin'.
Yablonska received her acting education at the Dnipro Theater College and performed in theaters in Pyskorov, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Mohyliv-Podilskyi, Vinnitsa, and Dnipro.
