Garnier Partners with Ukrainian Track and Field Champions
The cosmetics brand Garnier has announced a new partnership with Ukrainian high jumpers Yaroslava Mahuchikh and Yuliia Levchenko, who will now serve as the brand's ambassadors in Ukraine. This high-profile campaign is centered on Garnier's Vitamin C product line, including a new moisturizing cream-sorbet, and aims to highlight the brand's innovative skincare solutions. This move aligns with a growing trend of beauty brands collaborating with athletes who embody strength and dedication.
The collaboration features two of Ukraine's most celebrated athletes:
- Olympic champion and world record-holder Yaroslava Mahuchikh, who won gold at the World Indoor Championships by clearing 2.01 meters on her first attempt;
- World vice-champion Yuliia Levchenko, who shared silver medals with Nicola Olyslagers and Yovana Topić, having cleared a height of 1.99 meters.
Both athletes are now the new faces of Garnier, representing the brand in the Ukrainian market.
In recognition of her achievements, a wax figure of Yaroslava Mahuchikh has been unveiled at Madame Tussauds Museum. The Garnier campaign carries the motto:
“Heavy textures? Oily shine? Hey, take it easy?”, reflecting the brand's commitment to lightness and natural results in its products. This partnership not only celebrates the accomplishments of Ukrainian athletes on the global stage but also spotlights new cosmetic innovations designed to meet the needs of modern women.
Significance of the Partnership
Garnier's collaboration with these prominent Ukrainian athletes represents a strategic step for the brand. It serves to highlight their international sporting success while demonstrating support for local talent. As Ukraine's cosmetics market continues to grow, initiatives like this can help popularize innovative products and attract new consumers, which is crucial in today's competitive landscape.
