Ukrainian singer, producer, and TV presenter Gennadiy Viter shared in an interview on the YouTube channel «Slava Dyomin» about his current income and explained why he did not pursue a career as a top TV presenter. According to the artist, his average monthly income is about $2000, including passive earnings.
Viter noted that his project «Music Platform» currently does not generate profit. On the contrary, he invests money into it and fundamentally does not want to economize on stage, equipment, and television filming.

According to the artist, the funding for «Music Platform» consists of ticket sales, sponsorship support, and the participation of artists. Viter earns money on digital platforms and individual performances.
«This is actually very little. I will tell you this, if there is $2000, then $2000 is already good,» Viter said in response to Dyomin's question about average monthly earnings.
At the same time, the artist has passive income from real estate. He mentioned that he owns the house where he lives and several apartments that he rents out. Viter clarified that the mentioned amount of around $2000 also includes this income.
After paying utilities and other obligatory expenses, he said, the money goes to everyday needs - car, groceries, and family expenses.
Why Gennadiy Viter did not become a top presenter and chose producing
Gennadiy Viter also explained that he never aimed to build a large career as a presenter. Although he worked in television and was involved in famous projects, he was more interested in music and producing.
«I never actually had the desire to be a presenter. I clearly understood that I wanted to sing, and I wanted to produce. I found that more interesting,» the artist explained.
At the same time, he continues to host «Music Platform» as he considers it his own project that the team strives to maintain. According to Viter, over time, other artists, including Dasha Astafieva, joined the hosting, but the audience got used to a constant pair of presenters.
The artist also shared that before the full-scale invasion, his music career was carefully planned for all of 2022. The team had a schedule for releases, interviews, concerts, and corporate performances, but after the start of the great war, these plans had to change.
In the first year, Viter mainly engaged in television and social projects. Eventually, he went on a charitable European tour with Andriy Danilko, during which money was raised for the Ukrainian army.
