Ukraine’s General Staff has released its latest daily battlefield report, highlighting intense fighting across the front. Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 229 combat engagements, 127 airstrikes, and deployed 9,192 kamikaze drones. Additionally, the enemy launched 3,001 separate shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including 112 strikes using multiple rocket launcher systems. These developments come on the 1,572nd day of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Frontline Situation

On the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk axes, two combat clashes occurred. The enemy conducted three airstrikes, dropping nine guided aerial bombs, along with 82 shelling attacks—six of which were from multiple rocket launchers. On the South-Slobozhanskyi axis, Russian troops attacked seven times, specifically near Vovchansk, Izbystke, Zybine, and Lyman.

On the Kupiansk axis, Ukrainian forces halted one enemy advance near Novoplatonivka. The Lyman axis saw 17 enemy assaults, while the Sloviansk axis experienced 14 offensive actions. On the Kostiantynivka axis, 14 attacks were recorded. The Pokrovsk axis saw 39 assault attempts repelled. On the Oleksandrivka axis, one attack occurred near Vorone, and on the Huliaipole axis, the enemy launched 32 separate assaults.

On the Orikhiv axis, three enemy advances were stopped. On the Prydniprovskyi axis, one attack near the Antonivskyi Bridge was neutralized. Ukraine’s defense forces struck 12 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, two artillery systems, and one drone command post. The frontline situation remains tense, with active combat operations continuing across multiple sectors.

These figures underscore the sustained intensity of hostilities along nearly all major frontlines, reflecting the challenging military landscape in Ukraine. The high volume of shelling and airstrikes indicates Russia’s persistent efforts to achieve its military objectives despite fierce resistance from Ukraine’s Armed Forces. This ongoing escalation carries serious implications for civilian safety and the humanitarian conditions in regions under attack.
