As of June 26, 2026, Ukraine’s Armed Forces General Staff has released fresh figures on Russian occupier casualties, marking day 1,584 of the full-scale war. The report indicates that Russian personnel losses have climbed to approximately 1,398,370, with 1,310 new casualties recorded in the past 24 hours alone. This ongoing conflict continues to exact a heavy price on Moscow’s military.

Equipment Losses

Russian equipment destruction remains substantial. The following assets have been lost:

  • 12,059 tanks, including 2 destroyed in the last day;
  • 24,823 armored combat vehicles, with 5 additional losses;
  • 44,799 artillery systems, an increase of 68;
  • 1,896 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS);
  • 1,447 air defense systems;
  • 436 aircraft;
  • 353 helicopters;
  • 1,729 ground robotic complexes;
  • 373,660 tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The estimated financial toll of Russia’s destroyed equipment is also staggering:

  • Destroyed cruise missiles: roughly $14.36 billion;
  • UAV losses: estimated at $11.21 billion;
  • Aircraft and helicopters: $13.08 billion and $5.29 billion, respectively;
  • Destroyed tanks: approximately $30.15 billion;
  • Artillery systems: $67.20 billion;
  • Armored and special vehicles: $14.91 billion;
  • Air defense assets: $21.71 billion;
  • Ships and boats: around $1.98 billion;
  • Submarines: $600 million.

The General Staff emphasized that these figures are approximate, as only they hold the precise breakdown of destroyed equipment by modification.
