Атаки на стратегічні об'єкти в регіоні: удари по заводам у Таганрозі та кораблю ФСБ у Криму.

Ukrainian Armed Forces Carry Out Successful Operations

Ukraine’s General Staff has officially confirmed a series of successful strikes targeting Russian military and industrial assets. These include an attack on the Atlant Aero facility in Taganrog, a patrol vessel operated by Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) in occupied Crimea, and the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery. The confirmation underscores Ukraine’s ongoing campaign to degrade Russia’s military and economic capabilities.

Details of the Attacks

The strike on the Atlant Aero plant in Taganrog, located in Russia’s Rostov region, took place on April 19, 2026. Ukrainian Neptune cruise missiles were used in the operation, destroying two production buildings and damaging four others at the facility.

On April 22, 2026, Ukrainian forces targeted a Project 22460 patrol cutter belonging to the FSB border service. The attack caused damage to the vessel’s combat command bridge.

During the night of April 23, Ukrainian drones struck several regions across Russia. The Novokuybyshevsk refinery in Samara Oblast was hit for the second consecutive night. Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev reported one fatality in Novokuybyshevsk and two injuries in Samara city. In response, the Kurumoch Airport temporarily suspended operations. Additionally, both the Tuapse and Novokuybyshevsk refineries, which are owned by Rosneft, halted their operations.

These attacks highlight an escalation in the conflict and Ukraine’s focus on dismantling Russian military infrastructure and critical industrial sites. Civilian casualties and damage to key industrial facilities underscore the severity of the situation and its potential regional repercussions. The developments suggest a deepening of hostilities, which could shape the future trajectory of the war and bilateral relations between the countries.

As the Ukrainian Armed Forces intensify their operations, recent attacks not only target military installations but also critical energy infrastructure.
