Attacks on Defense Facility and FSB Vessel
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed the outcomes of strikes on the Atlant Aero defense plant in Taganrog and a patrol vessel operated by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) Border Service in Sevastopol. On April 24, 2026, Ukrainian Neptune cruise missiles hit the production facilities of Atlant Aero, located in Taganrog, Rostov Oblast. As a result, two production buildings were completely destroyed, and four others sustained severe damage.
Atlant Aero handles the full cycle of design, manufacturing, and testing for the Molniya strike-reconnaissance drones and produces components for Orion attack unmanned aerial vehicles. Damaging this facility will reduce the enemy’s ability to launch further attacks on Ukrainian cities.
Strike on Patrol Ship
Additionally, on April 24, 2026, a strike was carried out against a Project 22460 patrol and guard vessel belonging to the FSB Border Service of Russia. The ship was stationed in Sevastopol, within the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. The attack damaged the vessel’s combat command bridge. Ukraine’s defense forces continue to inflict losses on the enemy and systematically degrade its combat capabilities.
