On June 28, the units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine took responsibility for a targeted strike on Russian military facilities in the Bryansk region. This operation was carried out jointly with other components of the defense forces of Ukraine.
The target of the strike was a strategic facility – the warehouses of the 1060 Center for Material and Technical Support of the Russian Army. Previously, this facility was used as the 120 arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
According to information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the operation aimed to reduce the offensive capabilities of the enemy. Damage to the target has been confirmed, and a fire is observed at the facility.
Currently, the Ukrainian side is establishing the final results of the operation. The Armed Forces continue to take comprehensive measures to weaken the military-economic potential of the Russian occupiers and to compel Russia to cease hostile actions against Ukraine.
