Missile strike on an object in Russia
Units of the missile troops and artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, carried out a missile strike on an important military-industrial facility in Russia. The VAT 'Karachev Electrodetal Plant' in the city of Karachev, Bryansk region of the Russian Federation was hit. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the General Staff.
Electrodetal Plant and its significance
On September 29, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched four missiles at a distance of more than 240 km as part of reducing the capabilities of the enemy's occupation army. The Electrodetal Plant is key to the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation. The enterprise produces various electrical connectors.
«The products are used in aerospace, electronics, instrumentation, and other industries. In particular, these are connectors for printed circuit boards, military equipment, aircraft, antennas, base stations, and other systems, as well as components for various measuring instruments», – representatives of the General Staff reported.
Explosions and fire have been recorded at the site. The results of the strike are currently being clarified.
