The Ukrainian military has denied the statements of the Russian General Staff regarding the occupation of the village of Dachne in the Dnipropetrovsk region. This information was disseminated by the publication 'Glavkom' citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In particular, yesterday the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Federation, Valery Gerasimov, claimed that the Russian army had captured 7 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region, including the village of Dachne.

However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed what the village of Dachne actually looks like, which, according to Gerasimov, was occupied. Fighters from the 46th Separate Airborne Podolsk Brigade of the Air Assault Troops set up a drone and filmed a video with soldiers in Dachne under the Ukrainian flag.

The struggle continues at the front

According to the General Staff's data, Russian troops have not been able to regain full control over any major city, despite Gerasimov's claims. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that the Russian army is actively operating in the Pokrovsk direction and is suffering significant losses.

Stabilization measures are currently underway on some sections of the front, - Zelensky noted, - the Russians have suffered losses of over 290 thousand military personnel in the past eight months of this year, the most significant being in Donetsk.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine refuted the data on the occupation of the village of Dachne, showing a video from the scene. The Russian troops have not been able to achieve full control over any major city, and President Zelensky confirmed the significant losses of the Russian army in the occupied territories.
