Combat Operations Overview for January 30
On January 30, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported intense combat activity across the front. Over the past day, 157 separate firefights were recorded. - Kupiansk sector: Ukrainian defenders halted four enemy attacks in the directions of Kurylivka, Petropavlivka, and Novoosynove. One clash continues.
- Lyman sector: Ukrainian forces stopped seven enemy assaults.
- Sloviansk sector: Defenders also repelled seven attempts by the enemy to advance.
- Kostiantynivka sector: Occupying forces attacked Ukrainian positions 14 times.
- Pokrovsk sector: The enemy made 38 attempts to push forward in several areas.
- Oleksandrivka sector: Ukrainian units stopped nine attacks.
- Huliaipole sector: Seventeen assaults were recorded in the Huliaipole area.
