Updated Figures on Enemy Combat Losses
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has published updated, approximate figures on the combat losses sustained by the Russian Federation from February 24, 2022, to March 29, 2026. These figures are provisional and subject to further verification.
According to the released information, the total approximate personnel losses for the enemy over this period are about 1,295,830 troops, with 1,360 of those fatalities occurring in the most recent reporting period. These figures are a stark reminder of the war's intensity and human cost. Losses in military hardware are reported as follows:
- 11,820 tanks (+8)
- 24,313 armored combat vehicles (+16)
- 39,001 artillery systems (+65)
Other significant equipment losses recorded include:
- 1,707 multiple launch rocket systems
- 1,337 air defense systems
- 435 aircraft
- 350 helicopters
- 204,060 operational-tactical level unmanned aerial vehicles (of which 1,948 were destroyed in the last reporting period)
- 4,491 cruise missiles
- 33 ships and boats
- 2 submarines
- 85,977 units of automotive equipment and fuel tankers
- 4,105 units of special equipment
