Mykola Yarmoliuk Passes Away

His Life and Service
Born on February 28, 1986, in Malyi Mydsk, Kostopil region, Mykola Yarmoliuk first joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2014, serving in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). He was demobilized in 2016 but was called back to service following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
In March 2022, he served with the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade, carrying out missions in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. On May 19, 2022, he sustained a severe thigh wound in Avdiivka, which required extensive treatment at Mechnikov Hospital in Dnipro and a military hospital in Ternopil. Due to a deterioration in his health, he was subsequently discharged from service.
Mykola Yarmoliuk was laid to rest on March 28, 2024, in the local cemetery of his home village. His death is a profound loss for his family and community. Adding to the family's grief, the husband of Yarmoliuk's sister, Oleksandr Krupienia, had only recently returned from captivity.
