Vitaliy Golda, an aviation rescuer, died on November 17, 2022, after a Mi-8 helicopter crash while carrying out a combat mission in Donetsk region. He showed courage while trying to save his comrades during the emergency. Born on October 11, 1974, in Tulchyn, Vinnytsia region, Vitaliy Golda participated in combat operations in eastern Ukraine since 2015, establishing himself as a professional in his field.

Tragic Events and Posthumous Awards

On November 11, 2022, Vitaliy Golda was on a combat mission, but the next day, on November 12, he sustained severe burns, receiving 70% body damage. After that, he was hospitalized in Dnipro, where doctors tried to save the defender's life. Unfortunately, on November 17, 2022, he died in the hospital. Posthumously, Vitaliy Golda was awarded the medal 'For Exemplary Service' and the military rank of 'Master Sergeant', which signifies his dedication to military duty and courage.
