In Donetsk region, sergeant Pavlo Didenko died while evacuating the bodies of his comrades so that their relatives could say goodbye. He was escorted on his final journey in Rivne region. The 45-year-old scout, known as Zviriboy, had been participating in the war since 2014, but many were unaware of the actions he took. Since the beginning of the conflict, he defended his country, having destroyed 18 tanks. Zviriboy laid down this flag of Ukraine to protect his better half. Many people hoped for a miracle that he would survive, but it did not happen.
Zviriboy wanted to liberate his native land from the occupiers. He set out on a mission to evacuate the bodies of fallen defenders so that their relatives could come and say goodbye to them. Today he is remembered in Dubno, where representatives of various faiths and churches gathered. Everyone remembers Pavlo Didenko as a courageous fighter and a true friend, leaving in memory his heroic feats on the front line.
