According to the head of 'Ukrenergo' Vitaliy Zaychenko, it was stated during the telethon about possible emergency power outages throughout Ukraine due to severe frosts. This is related to the increase in electricity consumption under low temperatures, which can pose a challenge for the energy supply system even with the import or generation of energy in Ukraine.
The government also warned about a possible reduction in the duration of power outages this weekend, and by the end of the week, outages of 12 hours are expected for some consumers. Therefore, it is very important to be prepared for possible power outages and have a stock of necessary materials in case of emergency situations.
In this regard, the 'Glavkom' portal recommends properly preparing for possible power outages, having a stock of necessary materials, and knowing the rules of conduct in case of emergency situations.
