Global Money Week 2026 Campaign Launches
The Global Money Week 2026 information campaign for children and youth will run from March 16 to March 29, 2026. This marks the 12th consecutive year the organizer has served as the official national coordinator in Ukraine. The 2026 campaign's central theme is 'Smart Money Talks,' focusing on open conversations about finances. A series of educational events are planned to promote financial literacy among young people. This international initiative is particularly significant in Ukraine, where building economic resilience is a national priority.

Planned Events and Competitions
Scheduled events include the national final of the All-Ukrainian Financial Literacy Championship for 10th-grade students, designed to identify the most financially literate pupils in that age group. The final has already taken place, and the champions have been named. Additionally, the campaign will feature the national final of the European Money Quiz for teenagers aged 13 to 15.
Furthermore, an educational conference for teachers, the FinLit Forum, will be held on March 27, 2026, as another key component of the week. This forum will facilitate the exchange of experience and knowledge among educators teaching financial literacy. These competitions and events provide students with practical knowledge and skills for their future, while highlighting the crucial collaboration between educational institutions and financial organizations to advance financial education nationwide.
As financial education becomes increasingly vital, initiatives like the new financial literacy textbook for ninth graders introduced by Ukraine's Central Bank for the 2026 academic year further emphasize the importance of equipping students with essential financial skills. This resource will complement the ongoing efforts during Global Money Week, ensuring that young people are well-prepared to navigate their financial futures.
