Head of Ukraine's State Emergency Service Visits Main Mobile Rescue Center

Andriy Danyk, the head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS), recently toured the Main Mobile Rapid Response Center (GMRTSShR), where he engaged with personnel. Discussions focused on the service's operations under martial law, the development of its units, financial and logistical support, and priority objectives for the agency. This visit underscores the ongoing challenges faced by emergency responders in a war environment.

Rescuers Honored with Awards

During the visit, Danyk presented state and departmental decorations. Notably, the Order 'For Courage' (III degree) was awarded posthumously to Oleksandr Pytaychuk, with the honor given to his widow. Other rescuers from the GMRTSShR received medals including:

  • 'Defender of the Fatherland'
  • 'For Saving a Life'
  • 'For Labor and Valor'

Members of the special unit 'Delta' were also recognized with the 'For Labor and Valor' medal.

The ceremony highlights the critical importance of recognizing the heroism of rescuers who continue their duties under extremely difficult circumstances. Under martial law, emergency services are essential for public safety and disaster response, making their role even more vital to society.
