Starting September 1, 2023, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) and the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC) switched to the New Julian calendar, which changed the dates of fixed-date holidays. Now holidays are celebrated 13 days earlier. For example, on August 16, 2025, Orthodox Christians and Greek Catholics will celebrate the Third Savior, or Nut Feast, for the second time.

Traditionally, the name Nut Feast is associated with the harvest time: at the end of summer, walnuts and forest nuts are gathered before winter. This period also marks the end of the harvest season, and the grain turns into fresh bread, so the holiday is also known as Bread Savior.

The "Glavcom" prepared a selection of the most beautiful greetings and postcards for the Nut Feast.

From new wheat we will bake bread,
From the nearby forest, we will bring
Full handfuls of ripe nuts,
Hey, gather for the holiday, guests!
We will put both bread and nuts on the table,
We will congratulate everyone on the Nut Feast!
