The introduction of power outage schedules in Kyiv at the beginning of 2026 is due not only to energy challenges but also to the overall situation in Ukraine, which remains tense due to military actions. DTEK aims to optimize electricity consumption to ensure the stability of the energy system under limited resources. Kyiv residents should take these changes into account in their daily lives when planning their activities with possible outages in mind.
