Today, August 6, midfielder of the Luhansk team 'Zorya' Volodymyr Belotserkovets passed away at the age of 26. This was reported by 'Glavkom' with reference to the official website of 'Zorya'.

The causes and circumstances of the footballer's death have not yet been disclosed. Volodymyr Belotserkovets was born on January 22, 2000, and was a graduate of the youth academies of 'Metalist' and 'Zorya', playing as a midfielder.
In his career, he played for several teams, including 'Inhulets' and 'Metalurh' (Zaporizhzhia). He had a contract with Luhansk 'Zorya' until 2026. Last season, the footballer played 27 matches, scoring two goals and providing one assist for his team.
Training and future plans
It is worth noting that Belotserkovets was not included in 'Zorya's' squad for the first round of the UPL due to an ankle injury. He was expected to be ready for the match against 'Kudreva' on August 11. The last time the footballer took to the field was on May 25, 2025, in a game against 'Karpaty', which 'Zorya' won 3:1.
