Nuclear energy is the key to Ukraine's energy security
Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk emphasized that nuclear energy plays an important role in ensuring stability in Ukraine's energy sector, especially in the face of war threats.
She noted that thanks to nuclear power plants, Ukraine was able to avoid serious problems with electricity supply during Russia's attacks on energy infrastructure. The minister also supported the idea of constructing new energy blocks at the Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plant.
'This is a clean and environmentally friendly production that does not harm the environment, stable and economically profitable,' she emphasized.
Reaffirming the importance of nuclear energy for Ukraine's energy security, Minister Hrynchuk expressed support for the development of this sector and the construction of new energy blocks.
