The Ukrainian DRRR has launched a selection of projects
The Ukrainian State Fund for Regional Development has started selecting projects that will be financed. This was reported by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development.
Currently, 205 projects worth over 6.5 billion hryvnias have been submitted in the DREAM system. The largest amounts are planned for education - 2.2 billion hryvnias, municipal infrastructure and services - 1.8 billion hryvnias, as well as healthcare - 1.5 billion hryvnias.
Public investment projects in the fields of municipal infrastructure and services, education, healthcare, civil protection, and public services have been identified as priorities for selection.
The main requirements for projects include compliance with the State Strategy for Regional Development, having current documentation, co-financing of at least 10% from local budgets, and others.
To ensure a fair distribution of funding, 50% of the DRRR funds are allocated to projects in frontline regions, 30% for central regions, and 20% for western regions.
In 2025, the state budget provides for 1 billion hryvnias for the implementation of projects using DRRR funds.
It has been reported that the Ukrainian DRRR has started selecting projects for funding, with the most attention given to education, municipal infrastructure, and healthcare. Funds will be distributed according to priority sectors and regions, aiming to promote equitable development in the country.
