This weekend Ukraine will experience diverse weather with significant temperature differences between regions. Meteorologist Natalka Didenko reports that thunderstorms are expected in the west and north of Ukraine tonight and on Saturday, July 19, while the center and east may also experience rain. In the southern regions, dry weather is predicted.
The air temperature on Saturday will vary: moderately in the western regions, warmer in the north, cooler in the center and in Vinnitsa, and hot in the east and south of the country. The highest temperatures are expected in Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia regions and in Crimea.
On Sunday, July 20, the heat will slightly ease in the west and north. Brief showers are possible in some areas, but in general, the country will continue to enjoy dry weather, and the air temperature will not change significantly compared to Saturday.
In Kyiv, on July 19 and 20, brief rains with thunderstorms are possible, while daytime temperatures will remain around +20...+23 degrees.
At the beginning of next week, a sharp increase in air temperature is expected in Ukraine, especially in most regions. However, in the western areas, the temperature rise will already occur on Tuesday, while in the south of the country, a weakening of the heat may happen in a week.
