Forecasters warned residents of the Kyiv region about dangerous weather conditions on Thursday, July 17. This was reported by the press service of Ukrhydrometcentre.
On Thursday, cloudy weather with clearings is expected in Kyiv and the region. Short-term rains with thunderstorms will occur locally at night. The wind will be northwestern and western, with a speed of 5–10 m/s. The temperature at night will range from 15 to 20 degrees, rising to 22–27 degrees during the day. In Kyiv, the expected temperature at night is 18–20 degrees, during the day 23–25 degrees.
Thunderstorms are expected throughout July 17. The threat level is yellow. Such weather conditions may complicate the operation of energy, construction, and utility companies, as well as traffic.
