Casualties and Aftermath of the Komyshuvakha Airstrike

The Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) has confirmed the identities of Russian military aviators involved in the airstrike on the village of Komyshuvakha in Zaporizhzhia region, where fatalities have now climbed to 55. The strike was carried out on November 2 by a tactical aviation group operating four Su-34 aircraft under the command of Colonel Fedor Volodymyrovych Zubakov. At least nine guided FAB-3000 bombs were dropped during the attack by the Russian Armed Forces’ General Staff Tactical Aviation Group No. 5.

According to the latest information from Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (DSNS), the death toll increased following the discovery of more bodies beneath the rubble. Rescue teams recovered nine additional victims in the past 24 hours. Five people were rescued from the wreckage, with four currently hospitalized. Among the survivors is a 22-year-old woman suffering from severe burns covering 81% of her body, who remains in critical condition. The injured were transported to medical facilities conscious and are being treated in departments specializing in thermal injuries, neurosurgery, maxillofacial surgery, and trauma care.
