New data on Russian athletes who support the war
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has published information on Russian athletes who support the war on the War&Sanctions portal in the section 'Champions of Terror'. The list was updated with information on eight new individuals, including weightlifters, rhythmic gymnasts, and a archer.
One of the individuals included in the list is Russian slalom skier Alsu Minazova, who participated in propaganda events in 2025. Also appearing on the list are Belarusian gymnast Alina Garnaskaya, Russian weightlifters Yana Sotiyeva, Regina Shaidullina, Anastasia Romanova, and Belarusian trampolinist Ivan Litvinovich.
It should be noted that the basis for including some athletes on the list were materials from 'Gromadske'.
Additionally, Russian speed skater Daniil Naidenishev, recognized as a neutral athlete by international sports organizations, turned out to be a friend of the Russian occupier Mikhail Lebedev. Lebedev is participating in the war against Ukraine and publishes corresponding materials on social networks.
