Firefighters promptly arrived at the scene, seeing smoke coming from the 4th floor window of the 9-story building. They managed to get Artem and his grandmother to safety, unharmed. The fire was quickly extinguished.

Teach your children to act in emergency situations

Artem's story is a clear example of how to respond correctly in an emergency situation. Parents should remember that children need to be taught:

  • how to act in emergencies;

  • how to call for help correctly ('101', '102', '103', '112');

  • how to clearly state their address and other necessary information.
